Saturday, April 6, 1:00-2:30PM Celebrate spring with an overview of seed starting methods at Full Heart Farm. Learn the variety of ways we start seeds for the garden, including how to make soil blocks and how to select the appropriate size tray for planting. We will also explain how heat mats, grow lights, and other tools can help get your garden off to a strong start. Cost of the workshop includes your own flat to plant and grow at home. Saturday, April 20, 1:00-2:30PM Thaw out in the greenhouse and get your hands dirty planting your own small container garden for your porch or patio. Bring it home to grow inside on a windowsill or leave it in our greenhouse for pick-up when the weather warms. Cost of the workshop includes a hanging basket or tabletop planter, soil with fertilizer, and the plants or seeds needed to fill it. |

Saturday, May 11, 3-5PM Join us in the fields this Mother's Day weekend to learn about some of the different types of flowers we grow, as well as how they are harvested and handled. Then learn how to display them into a unique arrangement. Sunday, May 12, 1-2PM Join us on Mother’s Day to design a custom vase of flowers for a special mom-type person in your life. This course is designed for kids who can safely use scissors/floral snips and patiently handle delicate flowers. Cost of the workshop includes simple snacks, a quart-sized jar with an easy-to-design floral lid and all the flowers needed to fill it. |
