FARMER ALLYSON

Allyson fell in love with farming while studying at UMass Amherst - where she went on to get a degree in Agriculture Education.  She has nearly 20 years of experience raising animals, vegetables, and small fruit for market.

Allyson purchased Full Heart Farm in the spring of 2012 at the age of 24, and has been living the dream ever since.

Allyson has spoken at dozens of conferences and events. Allyson was named a finalist for the National Outstanding Young Farmer in 2021, one of CT Magazine's 40 under 40 for 2015, as well as eWomen Network's Emerging Leader of the Year for 2015.  She loves to learn and to teach and fills her evenings and winters consulting for UConn and Cornell Extension. She serves as a mentor for Holistic Management International's Beginning Women Farmers Program and is a member of the National Young Farmers Coalition.  ​

Few things excite Allyson as much as working on the farm, but she also enjoys canning, cooking, renovating their home, and spending time with the littlest farmers.

​FARMER KEITH

Keith is the biggest supporter of Full Heart Farm while he spends his days working off-farm at a local college.

When he's home at the farm he loves helping out with big projects and fixing all of the things that get broken during the week.

Keith's specialty is preparing EPIC farm-fresh breakfasts!

FARMER HENRY

Henry is our resident farmer-florist and a budding entrepreneur.  He proudly helps out with every task on the farm, but especially enjoys digging in the compost pile and picking out the perfect bouquet for each of our farm members.  We are endlessly grateful for his tech support and math expertise.

Given the choice, Henry would eat pork chops for dinner every night of the week.  With a side of chicken.  And a burger.
 
FARMER CORA

Cora is farm royalty and considers herself the princess of our land.  She has deemed herself the head of quality control on the farm (especially when it comes to sampling cherry tomatoes) and prefers to delegate tasks rather than partake in physical labor.  We are delighted when she graces us with her presence in the fields.

Her favorite crops are anything pink or purple or sparkly.

FARMER SADIE

Sadie loves to spend her days outdoors, admiring the wildlife and getting as dirty as possible.  Her favorite task on the farm is washing vegetables, or anything that involves water.  She is always the first to offer help, and we adore of her sense of humor.

An avid fruit fanatic, Sadie is looking forward to our ever-expanding strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry fields.

​FARMER LILA

Lila joins us for any task on the farm, as long as there are ample snacks provided.  She keeps the farm crew entertained with her constant singing and storytelling.  She enjoys watching the tractor work and watering the plants.

Lila's favorite crops on the farm to harvest are raspberries and snap peas!
